Often described as “a teacher’s teacher,” Linda Jordan brings great enthusiasm, competence, and common sense to her work. A master presenter, Linda engages adult learners with her sincere and credible style. She works to help schools across the country to implement the work of the International Center for Education. Linda is a part of the founding team, which established the Midwest Brain and Learning Institute at Hope College and creator and instructor for an on-line certification in Advanced Learning.
Linda’s background of training and experience prepare her to provide valuable information and advice on a variety of aspects of school improvement. She holds an Ed.D., MA and BA degrees in education. Linda has served as a teacher of preschool through college and has administrative experience. Linda has extended her participation beyond the classroom level as a member of school and district groups that include leadership council, school improvement team, child study team, and the district vision planning team, she also serves as a school board member. Mrs. Jordan served as curriculum coordinator for the proposed National Plus School project in Jakarta, Indonesia. Mrs. Jordan received the National Points of Light Foundation Award for Service Learning. Linda is a contributor to Service Learning Flagship newsletter and contributing author to Finding Our Way: Reforming Teacher Education in the Liberal Arts Setting and Exceeding Expectations: A Users Guide to Implementing Brain Research in the Classroom.
